Grant Francisco brings size, strikeout upside, and a freshman-era power profile to LIU’s bullpen
Grant Francisco is a 6-foot-6, 235-pound right-hander for LIU who arrived after a senior season at Scottsdale CC with 48 strikeouts in 35.1 innings and a 2.18 ERA, a strong indicator of swing-and-miss stuff and starter-level durability. LIU’s 2025 stats listed him at 27.00 ERA in limited work, so the key question is command and consistency, not raw arm talent. The draw here is obvious: big frame, power potential, and room to grow into a higher-leverage role if his control tightens up.
