Big, durable Illinois road-grader with starter experience
In the 2009 season, Randall Hunt emerged as a first-year starter at left guard and helped Illinois’ offense produce multiple 400- and 500-yard outings, showing the kind of size-and-leverage package coaches love in an interior lineman. Listed at 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds, he was described as a prep-school product and the only New Jersey native on the roster, which hints at a long developmental path and some toughness. If you want a dependable mauler who can move bodies and settle into a run-heavy identity, he fits the bill.
