Deion Jones brings pro-level instincts and production to North Carolina A&T’s linebacker room
Jones is a physically mature, inside-linebacker presence who brings NFL-caliber résumé value, including a Pro Bowl season in 2017 and a career built on tackles, playmaking, and range at the second level. His differentiators are instinctive diagnosis, pursuit speed, and proven production against higher-level competition, which can elevate a defense’s communication and confidence. The key question is current fit and availability, since his most recent public profile reflects a player with extensive pro mileage rather than a developmental prospect, so he fits best if a team wants a ready-made veteran stabilizer rather than upside projection.
