Tim Washington brings veteran SEC toughness and downhill edge to Mississippi State
Tim Washington is a seasoned Mississippi State linebacker known for size, physicality, and a blue-collar, downhill playing style; in Mississippi State’s roster materials, he was listed at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds and had played 50 career games with 61 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and two forced fumbles. His background suggests a reliable, intensity-driven fit for teams that value experience, run support, and special-teams grit over splashy stat lines. The one-line pitch: he looks like a tone-setter who shows up, hits people, and doesn’t need the spotlight to matter.
