Tennessee Sophomore QB with Untapped Potential from Texas Roots
Will McBride, a 6-1, 209-pound sophomore QB for the Tennessee Volunteers, brings proven high school pedigree as District 24-6A Offensive MVP in 2016 from Clear Springs High, now developing in Knoxville's high-octane offense. With limited college stats at ESPN-listed prior stop Lamar Cardinals, his differentiator is raw passion for spread systems since age six, competitive fire, and dual-threat mobility—ideal for teams seeking a gritty backup with starter upside. No major injury flags; watch for breakout in 2026 as he competes for snaps behind vets.
