Stanford’s steady long-snap specialist with academic polish
Alejandro Chavez is a senior long snapper for Stanford in the 2026 season, valued more for reliability than flash — the kind of specialist teams love when punt and field-goal snaps have to be boringly perfect. Stanford listed him as having seen game action on an extra point in 2024, and he also earned Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll recognition in 2023, which hints at discipline on and off the field. At long snapper, the job is precision, consistency, and poise, and Chavez looks built for that role.
