McNeese DL Prospect with Proven High School Pedigree
Anthony Yruegas, a 6-2, 245-pound strong-side defensive end from West Monroe High (LA), committed to McNeese State in 2012, bringing explosive edge-rushing potential and local Louisiana grit to the Cowboys' front; while college stats are scarce post-commitment, his compact frame and high school tape highlight relentless motor and strength against the run, making him a differentiator for FCS teams needing blue-collar intensity without injury red flags—ideal fit for programs valuing tough, undersized disruptors over flashy stats.
