veteran Dayton linebacker who brings steady, physical football IQ
Danny Meehan is a proven, older-season linebacker for Dayton, with the Flyers listing him as a 6-foot-2, 218-pound defender who appeared in six games and made five tackles in the 2021 season[1]. He brings experience, academic discipline, and a reputation for being dependable rather than flashy, which is exactly the kind of glue-guy profile that helps a defense stay organized[1]. If you want a linebacker who understands the system, plays with maturity, and adds depth without needing the spotlight, Meehan fits that mold nicely[1][2].
