Northwest’s steal machine and steady floor general
In the 2021-22 season at Northwestern, Veronica Burton was a true two-way engine: 17.8 points, 6.4 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game, while logging 36.5 minutes a night and earning All-America recognition. Her calling card was pressure defense and poise—she finished her college career with 394 steals and 575 assists, showing elite disruption plus real lead-guard control. If you want a guard who competes hard, handles big minutes, and can tilt games with defense and playmaking, she’s a strong fit.
