steady, physical Redbirds linebacker with proven tackling production
Tony Trujillo’s profile is built on consistency and toughness: in the 2008 season, he started all 11 games for Illinois State, totaled 54 tackles, and added 3.5 tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries, and a pass breakup. He was praised as a hard-hitting defender with a relentless motor, and his move between linebacker spots shows versatility and football IQ. If a team wants a plug-and-play linebacker who brings effort, physicality, and reliability more than flash, Trujillo is exactly that kind of fit.
