High-IQ Bronco guard with proven poise and playmaking
Maldonado has been a steady, winning-type guard for Santa Clara, highlighted by a 2022-23 season in which she averaged 6.2 points and ranked 11th nationally with a 2.55 assists-to-turnovers ratio. She’s more than a box-score line: reliable decision-making, feel as a connector, and resilience after a torn ACL made her a trusted backcourt stabilizer. If a team wants a guard who protects possessions, competes through adversity, and brings mature leadership, she fits the profile nicely.
