steady, physical combo guard who can score and facilitate
Kayana Traylor brings a veteran 5-9 guard’s blend of scoring, playmaking, and toughness: in the 2022-23 season at Virginia Tech, she averaged 11.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game while starting 29 of 35 games, and she posted 10.4 points per game in the 2021-22 season.[1][3][11] Her best differentiators are pace control, downhill pressure, and an all-around stat line that shows she can create for herself and others, not just hunt shots.[1][12] She also showed useful efficiency in college, with a 43.6% field-goal mark and 79.6% at the free-throw line in the 2022-23 season, which makes her a solid fit for teams needing mature backcourt production and composure.[12]
