Sydney Mazzilli brings size, freshman upside, and defensive energy to Air Force
Sydney Mazzilli is a 5-foot-9 forward from San Diego who arrived at Air Force as a freshman and fits the profile of a versatile, high-effort role player. In the most recently available stat line, she was used sparingly, posting 0.3 points and 0.3 rebounds per game, so the eye test and developmental upside matter more than box-score noise right now. Her appeal is the combination of size, positional flexibility, and apparent coachable, team-first value — the kind of player who can grow into a dependable glue piece if her motor and skill package keep climbing.
