Cress Worthy Brings Guard Experience, Shot Creation, and Playmaking to UNC Asheville
Cress Worthy is a battle-tested guard who adds scoring punch and secondary playmaking, with recent college numbers showing 3.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 34.8% shooting in the current UNC Asheville stat line[5]. His earlier high school production was more all-around—14.4 points, 4.1 assists, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game—hinting at a versatile, high-motor backcourt player rather than a pure scorer[2]. He also flashed strong output in ECU/ECBL play with 22 points in a high-scoring game, suggesting he can heat up offensively when given touches[1].
