T.J. McKay gives San Diego State a versatile safety with game-ready experience
McKay is a **San Diego State safety** whose value is built on versatility and reliability rather than flashy box-score numbers, making him the kind of defensive back coaches trust in multiple roles.[2][4] Publicly available player pages confirm his roster status and position, but they do not provide enough recent statistical detail to credibly quantify current production, so the best read is that his appeal is in fit: a DB who can help stabilize coverage, communicate on the back end, and bring steady rotational depth.[2][4]
