In the 2025-26 season, Elias Roche is a freshman forward/center for Cal Poly Humboldt who has flashed value as an energy piece, including a nine-minute stint with two blocks in a February 2026 game at Cal Poly Pomona.[7] The current stat line is still small, so the eye test matters: he profiles as an active, physical interior player who can bang inside, defend the rim, and bring short-burst impact off the bench.[4][6][7] He was also described in prep coverage as aggressive inside, forceful defending, and willing to step out for occasional threes, which gives him a useful modern-big toolkit.[6]
