trusted depth linebacker with a Michigan pedigree
Allen Gant has been a steady, physical reserve linebacker for Michigan, appearing in 18 games as a three-year letterman while contributing on special teams and defense, which signals reliability and football IQ more than eye-popping box-score production. His profile is built on versatility, toughness, and a background that translates well to high-level defensive culture, but his current college impact is best viewed as complementary depth rather than headline-grabbing stardom. If you value disciplined, coachable linebackers who can fit into a program’s structure, Gant is a sensible fit.
