SDSU's Mountain West LB Standout with NFL-Measurable Athleticism
San Diego State linebacker Caden McDonald exploded as a top Mountain West defender, earning Defensive Player of the Week honors (2019) and preseason top LB nods, showcasing relentless tackling and coverage skills. His pro day metrics scream upside—4.96 40-yard dash, 31.5" vertical, 22 bench reps—marking him as a twitched-up edge setter with sideline-to-sideline range. No major injury flags; his high-motor intensity and Haslet, TX grit make him a culture-fit plug-and-play for teams needing versatile, productive LBs right away. Watch for 2025 draft buzz if he stays healthy.
