Portland’s Redshirt Freshman LHP/OF with Elite Length and Dual-Role Versatility
Quin Dufort, a 6’3” Redshirt Freshman LHP/OF for the Portland Pilots in the 2026 season, stands out for his rare dual-role capability and towering frame that creates a significant strike zone advantage. Though his 2026 pitching stats show a 20.25 ERA and 6.00 WHIP across limited innings, his differentiator is his intensity and versatility as both a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, making him a strategic fit for teams needing roster flexibility. He brings a 175–195 lb athletic build (now 195 lbs), lefty-lefty coordination, and a high school pedigree as a four-year varsity star from Ida B. Wells HS. With no major injury history reported and a travel team background in Eforce 18u, Dufort’s personality is marked by competitive grit and adaptability. While he’s still developing consistency on the mound, his length and dual-threat profile make him a compelling long-term asset for any team seeking a versatile, high-ceiling college athlete.
