Tre Caine brings safety depth and proven versatility to Southern Utah
Tre Caine is a **Southern Utah safety** whose value is in being a steady, flexible defensive piece rather than a headline-grabbing stat machine; his background shows he can contribute in multiple phases, including receiving, rushing, and kick return work during his Colgate career, which hints at toughness, open-field comfort, and versatility. For a team, that usually means a player who can handle special teams, adapt to different roles, and add reliable depth if the coverage instincts and tackling translate consistently at the FCS level.
