Iowa State's Undersized DE with Tackling Grit from 2016
Gabe Luna, a 6-2, 245-pound defensive end for the Iowa State Cyclones, flashed promise in the 2016 season by playing 11 games with 2 starts, notching 18 tackles and 2.0 TFL—including standout 6-tackle, 1 TFL games vs. UNI and 4 tackles with a TFL vs. Kansas—showcasing his high-motor intensity and run-stopping tenacity despite his compact frame. Ideal for teams seeking a relentless, blue-collar edge rusher who's battle-tested from JUCO at Butler C.C., though no recent stats suggest he faded post-2016; a developmental gem for rotational depth.
