Marcus Green brings veteran linebacker energy to Portland State’s defense
Marcus Green is listed on Portland State’s 2026 roster as a senior linebacker at 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, which fits the profile of a physical, downhill defender who can help set the tone in the middle of a defense.[1] Publicly available results don’t surface recent 2026 production stats for this specific Marcus Green, so the cleanest takeaway is that his value appears tied to size, experience, and defensive stability rather than headline-grabbing box-score numbers.[1] If your team wants a sturdy, older LB who looks built for contact and assignment football, he’s the kind of player worth a hard look.[1]
