David Gelb is a field-flipping punter with legit big-leg juice
In the 2022 season, David Gelb earned All-Conference First Team honors at Charleston Southern after averaging 44.7 yards per punt, booming a school-record 77-yarder and forcing opponents to start with lousy field position all year. He stood out not just for distance but for consistency—at least one 50-yard punt in every game and 22 punts of 50+ yards—and the vibe from CSU’s own coverage is that he was a real difference-maker. If your team wants a punter who can change the geometry of a game, Gelb is your guy.
