Pedro Quero brings compact, right-handed catching value to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
Pedro Quero is a 5'8", 200-pound right-handed catcher from Tempe who gives Texas A&M-Corpus Christi a sturdy, experienced backstop profile with college-game experience from 2024-2026. His biggest differentiators are his catcher fit, solid physicality, and defensive utility behind the plate, while prep reports showed a 74 mph catcher throwing velocity and a 7.05 sixty, suggesting more gritty, playable athleticism than standout raw tools. He looks like a roster fit for a team that values toughness, reliability, and catch-and-throw upside over flash.
