Ty Evans brings a high-upside arm and proven winner’s resume to Mississippi State
Ty Evans is a 6-foot-3 quarterback with a decorated prep résumé, including 9,485 passing yards, 106 passing touchdowns, and back-to-back state titles at Palmer Ridge, plus elite recognition like Gatorade and USA Today Player of the Year honors[5][1]. At Mississippi State, he has been developing in the West Coast offense and showed live-arm flashes in spring work, though his spring game line included two interceptions, so the fit looks more developmental than plug-and-play right now[8]. He stands out for size, production, and competitive pedigree; the key question is whether his decision-making can catch up to his tools[5][8].
