Michael Helms Jr. brings veteran tight-end polish to Western Carolina
Michael Helms Jr. is a steady, veteran-style TE for Western Carolina with the kind of frame-and-route discipline that tends to earn trust on Saturdays, and in his older Catamount seasons he showed he could be a reliable chain-mover rather than just a catch-and-fall target. His value is less about flashy volume and more about dependable technique, experience, and situational awareness, which are useful traits if a team wants a tough, assignment-sound tight end who can do the dirty work. If current 2026 stat-leader context is your priority, his latest verified public game log details were not available in the information gathered.
