rookie BC spark plug with clutch contact and gap pop
In the 2026 season, Boston College freshman infielder Luke Gallo has emerged as a real table-setter and situational weapon, batting .325 with a .429 OBP and 36 RBI while ranking among BC’s most productive hitters.[3][4] He’s shown clutch juice too, including a 2-for-2, 3-RBI Beanpot championship performance and his first collegiate homer in that title game.[1][13] What makes him interesting beyond the stat line is the quick adjustment curve: he earned a long starting run at third base, contributes on the bases, and was recognized on the ACC Freshman Team.[4]
