High-upside center prospect with top-20 national pedigree
Adam Bice arrived at Akron as a highly regarded in-state line prospect, ranked by Scout.com as the 17th-best center in the nation and earning first-team All-Ohio plus two All-Eastern District honors in high school. At 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds in the 2008 recruiting class, he brought the frame and recognition of a developmental OL piece with clear interior potential. Since he’s a former player, there isn’t current performance to track now, but as a prospect he stood out for size, competition level, and verified national positional ranking—signals that he was viewed as a legit fit for a program needing tough, technically trainable line help.
