Explosive HS Star Turned Kent State RB Prospect
Terrell Bates, a 5-9, 190-pound all-purpose back from St. Edward High School, erupted for 1,369 rushing yards and 19 TDs in 2010, powering his team to a perfect 15-0 season and state title—showcasing elite vision, burst, and toughness as a compact, hard-charging runner who maximizes every carry. As a 2-star 247Sports recruit (rating 70) who joined Kent State, his differentiator is relentless intensity and multi-dimensional playmaking; no recent college stats available, but his HS dominance signals a gritty fit for teams needing a resilient, high-motor RB unafraid of contact.
