Roman Bracamonte brings size, experience, and strike-throwing upside to CSUB’s rotation mix
In the 2026 season, Roman Bracamonte has been a work-in-progress for Cal State Bakersfield: 8 mound appearances, 6 starts, a 0-1 record, 12.21 ERA, and 6 strikeouts in 14.0 innings, but the 6'5" right-hander still draws interest because coaches clearly trust his experience and “quality stuff” from a proven winner at Central Arizona. He flashed a clean outing with 3.0 scoreless innings vs. Long Beach State and was part of the rotation conversation entering 2026, which makes him more intriguing than the stat line alone suggests.
