Reliable Maryland post presence with a polished mid-range touch
In the 2006-07 season, Aurelie Noirez gave Maryland a steady interior option, posting 2.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game while shooting 47.9% from the field and 60.0% at the line. Her calling card was reliability: Maryland’s own media guide described her as a dependable post player who can hit the mid-range jumper, and she also earned the team’s Academic Award in 2004. She’s not a volume scorer, but she fits as a disciplined, experienced, low-drama big who can defend, rebound, and make the simple play.
