Freshman DB Steron Davidson Jr. brings compact speed and playmaking upside to Austin Peay
In the 2026 season, Steron Davidson Jr. is a freshman defensive back at Austin Peay, listed at 5-foot-8, 174 pounds, with no published game logs or stats yet, which makes him more of an upside watch than a finished product[1][3][6]. His profile suggests a smaller-but-scrappy cover guy whose value will likely come from quickness, competitiveness, and special-teams juice rather than pure size[1][7]. Coming from Louisville Male, where he contributed on offense and showed all-purpose versatility, he looks like a multi-use athlete who could fit best in a scheme that values toughness, range, and developmental DBs[7][11].
