Antoine Willie remains a steady, two-way VCU guard with proven scoring touch
In the 2002-03 season, Antoine Willie averaged 7.8 points, 2.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 0.7 steals per game for VCU while shooting 40.4% from the field, 31.3% from three and 72.5% at the line[1][7]. He brings the kind of compact, competitive guard play coaches like: can create some offense, handles the ball without being reckless, and chips in defensively with active hands[1][7]. His earlier 2001-02 season was stronger offensively at 12.5 points and 3.4 assists per game, so the resume says scorer first, organizer second[1][7].
