Miami’s go-to scorer and two-way veteran leader
In his Miami season, McGusty was the Hurricanes’ alpha wing, starting all 37 games and producing 17.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game while logging heavy minutes. His value goes beyond the box score: he brought late-game shot creation, defensive pressure, and veteran leadership on a team that leaned on him in big moments, including a 27-point burst in Miami’s Elite Eight run. He looks like a strong fit for teams needing a mature, physical guard who can score without needing the offense to be built around him.
