Marcel Stevens brings efficient, steady backcourt value for CSUN
In the 2022-23 season, CSUN guard Marcel Stevens gave the Matadors reliable two-way minutes: 4.2 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals per game, while shooting 38.0% from three and 88.2% at the line. He’s not a volume scorer, but he does the sneaky-important stuff—spacing the floor, defending with activity, and staying composed enough to earn 11 starts in 30 games. At 6-foot-2, he profiles as a useful glue guy for a team that needs a mature, low-drama guard who won’t panic when the game gets messy.
