veteran UConn DB with veteran savvy and tackling pop
Diamond Harrell entered UConn as a JUCO transfer and, in the 2019 season, logged 40 tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 passes defended, and 1 forced fumble in 8 games, showing the kind of ball production and run support that coaches love in a defensive back[1][6]. At 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, he brings a sturdy frame, safety-to-slot versatility, and a proven feel for making plays in space; the big-picture read is a tough, experienced defender rather than a pure headline-grabber[1][3].
