Freshman Catcher, Still a Blank Slate at UIW
Luke Flores-King is a 2026 freshman catcher at Incarnate Word, but publicly available UIW roster data shows no game statistics yet, so the best read is projection rather than production. He’s the kind of player worth tracking because catchers who stick at UIW usually need quick hands, a steady game-calling presence, and real durability behind the plate; at 5-foot-8 and 185 pounds, he looks like a compact, scrappy backstop who may win value with toughness and reliability more than flash.
