a steady, low-usage guard with UNCW roots
Sierra Clayborn’s UNCW profile shows a guard who brought experience and versatility to the Seahawks, appearing in 14 games in the 2017-18 season after playing 19 games the year before. In the 2017-18 season, she averaged 0.3 points, 0.0 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, so her value was less about box-score pop and more about depth, familiarity, and being ready when called. The bigger differentiator: she was a local program piece with a twin-sister connection to UNCW, suggesting strong team chemistry and buy-in rather than headline-hunting star power.
