UNI Panthers' Griff Jurgens: Dual-Threat QB Poised for Breakout in 2026
Griff Jurgens, the UNI Panthers' electrifying quarterback, commands attention with his elite arm talent and elusive scrambling ability, making him a nightmare for MVFC defenses—think a pocket passer who can extend plays like a young Lamar Jackson. In the 2025 season, he threw for 2,847 yards and 24 TDs while rushing for 612 yards and 8 scores, ranking top-3 in the conference for total offense (312.4 YPG per UNI stats).
