In the 2025-26 season, Carla Celaya has been a do-it-all senior guard for Northwestern State, producing around 4.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while starting every game and giving the Lady Demons toughness on both ends. She stands out for her rebounding from the guard spot, defensive activity, and willingness to do the dirty work; Northwestern State’s own coverage called her a key piece in a stingy defense and noted a 9.4-rebound stretch in Southland play, including a career-high 13 rebounds at Nicholls.
