Devin Brager brings Texas-tough upside to SFA’s defensive front
Brager entered Stephen F. Austin as a 6-foot-2, 210-pound defensive end from Fort Worth and earned 2022 All-District 3-5A Division I Utility Player of the Year honors in high school, which hints at a versatile, high-motor defender with some playmaking juice.[1][2] His roster listings show him as a first-year player at SFA, and there isn’t meaningful public game-log production yet, so the appeal is more projection than stat-sheet fireworks right now.[1][4] If a team wants a developmental DL with athletic background, coachability, and utility-player versatility, Brager looks like a worthwhile long-term bet.[1][5]
