John Hardy brings compact guard savvy and bursty scoring potential to Hampton
John Hardy is a 5-foot-11 guard from Chesapeake, Va., with Hampton experience plus a Virginia Union background, and his most visible college production came in the 2022-23 season when he played 13 games, averaged 10 minutes, and posted a career-high 11 points against North Alabama. The appeal is the guard’s compact, active profile: he can give you quick-hit offense, has shown he can score in short windows, and fits as a depth piece who may outperform his size with pace and toughness. If you need a ready-made lead creator, he’s not that guy; if you want a spark guard with local roots and some upside, he’s worth a look.
