Holly Lueken brings veteran-level reliability and academic grit to Colgate’s front line
Lueken’s value is built less on volume scoring and more on dependable, coachable frontcourt play: Colgate lists her as a forward who appeared in 23 games as a first-year, averaged 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds, and earned the team’s Most Coachable award plus academic-honor-roll recognition in 2019-20.[1] She also missed her entire sophomore season because of injury, so any current evaluation should account for returning form and durability.[1] She fits best as a low-ego, high-IQ role player who can rebound, defend, and stabilize a rotation rather than carry a usage-heavy offense.[1]
