Veteran Youngstown State guard brings steady floor game and experience
Tyler Warford is a seasoned 6-1 guard for Youngstown State whose profile shows a low-usage, steady backcourt role rather than a volume scorer; ESPN lists him at 0.5 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, underscoring that his value is more about experience, ball security, and knowing where to be than filling a box score. In the 2024-25 season, Youngstown State was a 21-13 team that played a fast, efficient style, and Warford’s fit is best for a roster that wants a reliable connector, practice-to-game consistency, and a player who won’t need the ball to help structure winning basketball.
