Adam Brankamp brings old-school linebacker toughness to VMI
Adam Brankamp is a VMI linebacker whose profile points to a physical, assignment-sound defender rather than a flashy stat-padding star; in the documented game data available, he recorded 4 total tackles with a pass breakup for VMI, showing active hands and willingness to mix it up in traffic. The key draw is his downhill mentality and special-teams/rotational value for a program that prizes discipline and toughness. If a team wants a hard-nosed, military-structured fit who can do the dirty work and stay dependable, Brankamp checks that box.
