Portland State's Undersized but Tenacious LB Prospect
Elijah Mareko, a 6'2", 225-pound freshman linebacker for the Portland State Vikings, redshirted in 2022 after earning two-time All-State honors and Linebacker of the Year accolades at Kentwood High School, showcasing explosive tackling and sideline-to-sideline speed on Hudl highlights. With limited 2023 college stats available, his high school pedigree highlights a gritty, high-motor defender ideal for Big Sky action—perfect for teams seeking developmental depth at LB who brings proven prep intensity without the blue-chip hype.
