Virginia edge rusher with a place in the Cavaliers' record book
Stamenich is best known at Virginia for his disruption off the edge: the Cavaliers’ record book lists him among the program’s career leaders for tackles for loss, with 13 in his Virginia career, and notes a standout performance against NC State in 1999. That profile points to a defender valued for backfield pressure, effort, and game-changing plays rather than just raw sack totals. If you want a DE who can stress an offense and create negative plays, his Virginia legacy suggests the right kind of attacking fit.
