Physical Monmouth DB with a hitter’s edge
Shaquan Virgil is a physical defensive back who was projected to compete for a starting spot at Monmouth, and his profile points to a tough, downhill style rather than a finesse game. In his high school career, he was a four-year varsity player, a two-time captain, and earned Burlington County Defensive Player of the Year honors after piling up more than 200 tackles, 20 sacks, 15 pass breakups, and 8 interceptions over his last two seasons. If your team wants a DB with speed, pop, and competitive temperament, he fits the bill.
