Xavier Purdy brings veteran Tennessee Tech DB energy and positional toughness
Xavier Purdy is listed by ESPN as a Tennessee Tech defensive back/cornerback, but there isn’t enough current public stat detail here to fairly grade his 2026 production. What stands out is the profile itself: a defensive back spot demands coverage instincts, tackling confidence, and short-memory toughness, and Purdy’s long-running association with Tennessee Tech suggests experience and program familiarity. If you want a DB who can help stabilize the back end and fit into a disciplined defensive room, he’s the kind of player worth a closer look.
