local guard with upside, but limited current production at Stony Brook
Leah Burden is a Stony Brook guard from Westbury, N.Y., but her current statistical footprint is extremely small, with ESPN listing just 0.1 points and 0.1 rebounds per game and no recorded assists or field-goal makes this season. That means her value is more likely tied to practice competitiveness, depth, and development than box-score impact right now. If you need a ready-made scorer, she is not that yet; if you want a young guard who can grow within a program and contribute as a developmental piece, her hometown fit and roster presence make her worth monitoring.
